Phlebectomy
With a phlebectomy, surface veins are removed under local anesthesia. There is usually no need for stitches as the incisions are extremely small. Phlebectomy is a great option for removing varicose veins as the recovery is fairly quick and easy.
Sclerotherapy

Vein stripping involves tying off a vein before it joins a deep vein. In this outpatient procedure, the vein is removed through small incisions. Removing the varicose vein doesn’t affect circulation in your leg because the veins deeper in the leg take over.
